Flower Cake Pops
It will make about 30 Flower Cake Pops.
It will take about 2 hours.
-340gr butter at room temperature
-1 cup sugar
-1 tsp vanilla extract
-3 and 1/2 cup flour
-1/4 tsp salt
Misturar tudo na batedeira, fazer um disco e levar ao frigorifico cerca de 30 min. Estender a massa até ficar com cerca de 1cm.
-Mix all the ingredients in a mixer until the batter is consistent.
-Wrap the dough in plastic film and allow it to rest in the fridge during 30 minutes.
-Stretch the dough with the rolling pin until it’s about 1cm.
-Use flower cutters to cut the dough.
-Let it cook in the oven at 180 degrees celsius until the cookies are lightly coloured.
-Apply lollypop sticks immediatly after taking the cookings out of the oven. You should use some icing sugar moist in a pich of water as a glue to the sticks.
For the decoration:
-Mix 1 cup of icing sugar and 1/3 tsp of water and a 1/3 tsp of lemon juice. You should achieve a thick consistency. Add a little more water/icing sugar if necessary. Distribute this mixture in little containers and add food coloring to each one. Now you have your painting prepared to action!
-Decorate your cooled cake pops with the icing sugar and some funny confetis if you prefer.
